My "small" classes would be forty; my "professors" all TA's,

I'd try real hard to find my niche, but even when I did,

When I say I go to Williams, people blink and say, "um -- where?"
But if you say you go to Harvard, you just get an awestruck stare.
Some kids will go and hate it; they'll spend four years being glum;

Then down the road, when someone asks you where you went to school
You can say you went to Harvard and make him look like a fool.

Explanation of terms:
Eph: UNH athletes are Wildcats; Williams athletes are Ephs. Named for Ephraim Williams, the founder of the College.
orgueil: selfish pride (French)
VE RI TAS: Latin for "truth," and Harvard's motto, which is displayed as a shield-shaped logo on three books (see above). Graces everything remotely related to Harvard.
Certificate: "Following an old Harvard tradition, a certificate of admission is enclosed." Accepted students receive a frameable certificate that says -- what else? -- that they got in.
